I am pleasantly surprised with overall difference this upgrade has made on overall computing performance. Bootup is quicker and running multiple programs no longer slows it to a crawl.

Cons

Don't buy from this supplier. Their horrible reputation is much deserved. Paid $49. Didn't get what was advertised.

The dell xps 18 only allows 8gb of ram max and has 4gb installed internally. As a result, i'm forced to still use the old 2 gb ram along with the one working 4gb stick.

The nuc6cays memory is not compatible with the hp 15-g013cl notebook computer. It runs 800 mt/s rather than 1600mt/s on the motherboard. Intel says this means that this memory is unsupported.
