Very happy with the purchase as it gave me a noticeable performance boost from 2166mhz.
The building quality on these ram sticks does not feel premium, but the performance and lighting are great.
Initially, i purchased the other memory modules that are very tall, and it conflicts with the fan.
Turns out there's a known problem with the mod application for about the past year.
Price
If you can get it at retail price, do it.
Competitiveness
No issue on my z390 chipset mb.
Oddly enough it helped my 3700x run cooler at 3600mhz than the 3200mhz hyperx ram it replaced.

For it to work download the asus armory application and control it through there

Performs great metal heatsink and the rgb is compatible is most third party software like asus aura sync

As for the rgb side of things while it is asus aura compatible the asus software only allowed me basic functionality

The other new set i ordered arrived as a amazon renewed set of 2666 crucial ram with a white sticker on the box that said 3600 mhz
