Pros

They ship in an industrial cardboard pouch, vs a blister pack. But they have a nice plastic clamshell package inside. No issues at all.

It's early days still so i'll update this review if anything changes. Highly recommend.

The mx500 has a plastic casing which makes it run a little bit hotter than its mx500 cousin which has metal casing. It's not overheating or thermal throttling in any way.

The crucial bx series of ssds are much cheaper now than previous years. Both of the ssds essentially max out the sata connection to your motherboard. An ssd is by far the cheapest way to breathe new life into an old computer.

Cons

Tb cricual is the slowest drive among all 3. It's not 2tb it's 1. The ssd drive is very cheaply made. Stay clear of the bx serie.

This product is a perfect fit with a good price.

I have linux a pc with the stock 256gb hdd failing.
