So if you have "heavy basic windows" use and are hoping that 32gb will mean windows doesn't dive into a swap file for ssd read/writes.
Windows makes its swap file a minimum of 15gb, but hates using more than 20gb of so of the ram.
Price
Instantly picked up by the pc and performance so far has been excellent for the price paid.
Which means at any time, you aren't using about £20 of the memory you paid for.
Competitiveness
I happened to have compared this with a 16gb stick.

Youll rarely use more than £40 of ita 16gb sodimm stick will sit comfortably at about the 75 usage level and will use 80 or more when it needs to so it seems much more like you are getting value for money with the 16gb so i bought a 16gb sodimm instead
