The crucial t700 is the fastest pcie gen 5 nvme ssd on the market. The benchmark for the new t700 4tb gen5 drive on the left, with the xpg on the right. Another is my t500 2tb.

Cons

After reverting the psid, disabling sid blocking, etc. Didnt show in bios on inital boot on rog strix z790-e. Must restart several times for the drive to be recognized. On diskpart the drive shows up invalid.

Originally got one that looked opened/used by the packing having the seal broken.

Competitiveness

At the time i purchased this, it was the fastest consumer nvme drive available.

I would have been better off with a 4tb gen4 for the same price, which i do have, and tested both.

Compared to a corolla (spinning platter hdd), it's night and day.
