Pros

This p5 flys, only thing i hope they fix in a bios update for the p5 is temps. I have mainboard heatsink on it and it still runs at 50c. Easy to install in my hp 17-by0053cl. Only concern is why there is no mounting screw to put in the motherboard.

The 1 tb drive formats to exactly 1tb and is really fast. It sells for a decent price for 2tb. Crucial has great products and this nvme 1 tb storage stick is nonexception.

This m. Nvme interface is great. Easy peasy. It is easy to add to the m. Bit pricy but it's nvme so whatever.

My pc now boots up so much faster compared to when it was on a standard hdd. Boot time is a tiny bit better than a ssd. Revived my laptop from the slowness of an hdd.

Cons

Samsung scorpion 970 evo series is a far better option. Mbr is not bootable in drives larger then 2tb. The only speed this ssd will write is 7mbps. The drive claims to have hardware encryption.

Not using the claimed hardware encryption. Even if i got it working, i doubt its reliability and sustainability. It makes suspect if it is a used item that had been repackaged.

Imo a heatsink should be included with this drive, because it gets very toasty in normal day-to-day operation.

The top surface is covered by a sticker that does not conduct heat.
