Pros

Crucial p5 plus 1tb pcie gen4 3d nand nvme m. Ssd, up to 6600mb/s - ct1000p5pssd8 solid state drive. Reliable micron chips, extremely easy to install like any other m. Nvme, & was recognized upon boot into bios. Easy to install in motherboard m.

High speed, game grade, gen4 sdd at a great price. Will max out and throttle without. Faster than the console anyways. Games run flawless and loads quick.

Almost a no brainer. Worked perfect. Saved some money. Purchased these for work. Well worth the price.

Cons

Speeds were advertised for the first 2 minutes, and then tanked down to nearly usb 2. Read speed when installed in my ps5 was 986 mbps, it's a bad first impression. Incompatible with my lenovo yoga, failed. Had to reset the pc.

Crucial did same shady trick silently crippling own products to increase profit. Extremely deceptive speeds and marketing. Returning, guys spend a few more bucks and avoid the frustration.

It boots very fast (i turn off fast boot too).

This was so easy to put into the ps5 it was shocking.

Competitiveness

My gaming laptop came with a 1tb m.

At $50 for 1tb storage this was an excellent buy.

Changing/adding them only take less than 5mins.

My motherboard has two of these gen 4 nvme slots and 1 gen 5.
