Pros

Originally ordered imac with 16gb ram. Put the two rams into my new imac 2018 - 8gb, and viola. This is much less expensive than ordering the extra ram directly from apple when ordering your imac.

Cons

Label on clamshell claims 2666mhz, labels of sodimms indicate ddr 4 2666mhz, however, the imac's memory bus degrades to 2133mhz.

Quality

I can confirm that these modules are perfectly compatible with the 27-inch imac (2020).

I added this memory to the original 16gig provided with the machine.

Still using the 16gb stock ram that came with the imac.

Remember to order the one which is designed for mac computers with the letter "m" at the end of product number.

Price

These work great and i got them for a great price.

Beware though the price sold by amazon does fluctuate every so often.

Shipping

Shipping was fast and everything was as promised.

As described, super easy to install and fast shipping.

Packaging/appearance

It was packed in a bubble envelope with little cushioning no box ( see pictures), the memory is just in clear plastic form packaging.

The packaging arrived very minimal which concerns me.

Competitiveness

I used the module in my qnap nas ts-873a.

Works great in a 2017 imac 27”

I used to buy 3rd party rams and i had problems with some brands.
