If someone is really paranoid they can use ram with error correction for a server used for critical applications where errors are catastrophic andor test the ram to make sure it doesnt have any diagnostic errors

Theres no moving parts so if you encounter issues its far more likely to be the wrong product or poor installation than a bad piece of hardware unless you are buying from a vendor that does not test their product before shipment or knowingly is selling you bad product
