Crucial memory comes with a decent warranty. They guarantee it'll work with the computer so long as you use their application. If i go application heavy in the future then i'll appreciate having dual-channel across 16gb!

So i was very disappointed to notice no speed increase at all after installing the two sticks of 8gb

Thinking something was wrong i looked again and learned that the motherboard had been using dualchannel for 4gb across both sticks 8gb total and singlechannel for the remaining 4gb on the second stick so this is why i hadnt noticed a huge speed increase

So took screen shots to prove that i had tested it prior to purchasing knowing that i could return it if it didnt perform as expected
