Pros

I have an alienware m16 that came with 16gb memory, an i7 processor and an rtx 4070 gpu. Reversed everything and went from 16mb to 32mb in under 10 min. Great deal for 32gb laptop ddr5 ram.

Fits in my g14 dual channel works flawlessly. Installed in an acer nitro 17 no problem. Asus duo 16 laptop.

Ddr5 memory ensures lightning-quick response times. Ideal for gaming, content creation, and intensive computing workloads. Low-voltage design enhances energy efficiency.

Cons

It's almost as if the xmp profile wasn't programmed onto the chips before shipping. At 4800mhz, the cl is 40, which isn't even remotely quick.

This is where the process became painful. After receipt they state that it will be 7-10 days until they ship the replacement. Hopefully, i'll get refunded.

So hp website said that i can't go past 32gb ddr5 4800mhz.

I don't know if i notice any difference as i probably didn't need extra ram but i've seen it use more now that it's available.

I note that crucial strongly recommends use of a kit, wherein all the ram pieces are matched.
