I used it when upgrading my macbook pro (mid-2010 model).
I bought this for a mid 2012 - 15inch macbook pro and was incredibly easy to install.
My 2011 27in imac was running slow so bought these to improve the speed.

Then tried the power button nothing tried again nothing then again a minute later and it started up

Simplicity itself to replace and within 10 mins the rebooted mac mini was back to the machine i bought many years ago

My mac had been slowing down for some time i bought it in 2011 and people were trying to sell me cleaning tools or even a new mac but on checking the setup apple logo top left about this mac memory i saw i had only 4g of memory with spare memory board slots
