At the time i purchased this, it was the fastest consumer nvme drive available.
I would have been better off with a 4tb gen4 for the same price, which i do have, and tested both.
I got it without heatsink(cheaper) since my motherboard has a slot for the pcie5 with better and larger heatsink.

Literally the windows logon screen appears right after the motherboard is done posting i used to see the mb screen logo while windows loaded now i dont see it cause it loads faster than the logo screen appears

It is able to deliver the advertised gen 5 speed but the ssd temperature reached 75 degree during the readwrite test

I think 80 degree is the throttle speed

It could be this ssd generates a lot of heat or the heat sink on the sabrent adapter is not good enough
