Pros

Its lightweight design makes it less prone to impact damage. No need to worry about the size of the drive since all capacities come in the same dimensions.

Perfect for quick file transfers, video editing, and gaming. I use it as an external gaming drive for games like; shadow of the tomb raider, far cry 6 and the crew motofest. One thing to note it takes like a hair longer to download anything on to it. ... Read More

Cons

This drive disconnects and reconnects a few times an hour all on its' own. A reboot says the device attached to the usb port has malfunctioned. I rebooted the pc.

Anything over 100gb takes an inordinate amount of time to write. Could not get data copy speeds above a few hundred mb/s - should have been up to 2 gb/s. Right at the very end of transferring sometimes it gets a “this operation can’t be completed’.

Most people buying this are laptop owners. It is difficult to expand the memory of a laptop without an external drive.

Quality

No issues editing audio and hd video from this device but i’m also one of a few that can actually use usb c 2x2 for full potential.

I edit some 4k footage and honestly this drive is so rapid i can edit right off the drive with no issues.

After i used it i felt so cheated by all of my other slowww external and internal hard drives, lol.

Great external hard drive but your laptop must have a usb-c (like cell phones) port to use it.
