Crucial x6 2tb is an incredible amount of storage to have on something that is so small & light. Bought this to save films and watch them on my tv and free up space on my laptop. I got imac 24 inch, its only limitation is the storage. Imac, imac.

Compact, lightweight and exceedingly well made. Uses a usb socket to connect to a laptop.

The drive has a usb-c connector. For me, it’s a game changer.

Good call on my part, there. Seems to have picked up a bit now, tho. Well pleased. Ow use this every week.

Cons

Design and form isn't reflective of the price asked for this. Don't get scammed. Used to returning to amazon and getting refund within hours.

Read and write speeds are nice and quick, build quality is good, can't complain.

With usb2 the read performance will be greatly restricted.

I am not over chuffed with that as other ssd manufacturers usually provide both usb a and c cables with the device.

At less than £100 for a 2tb ssd, this device is very good value.

I store all my games on this drive instead of my 256mb nvme gen 5.

So restoring a 400gb backup went fast for a long time then went down to about 80mb/sec.
