Crucial is the least expensive brand i've heard of that i would consider -- it's less expensive than sandisk, western digital, or samsung. Read rates are very quick, which i think is what counts for most applications. Tb saves encrypted in seconds. Da... Read More

Cons

Outright scam. Their entire tech support policy is to stall you until you give up. This is not worth what they are charging for it.

When plugged in, it says the disk you inserted was not readable.

Crucial x9 is 3-4x slower than a spinner hdd. P1 ssd and the qlc nand gets extremely slow writing speed (50mb/s), after the cache is filled up. All my other hdds are way faster than this.
