Pros

It runs fast as advertised but also runs cool. It's super fast and ultra light too.

Cons

Speed drops from 350 mb/s to 80mb/s. After a few seconds, the drive overheats and gives a speed of 50 mb/s. It stops working completely after about 10 or 15 minutes. Crucial fails to provide crucial information about the drive.

However, it also comes with a significant downside. Feels like a bait and switch.

But my data is gone. I'm sure amazon will refund but this is useless when i need to try and recover the data or tell a client that i lost a full days work.

This is the first and last time i purchase anything from this company, micron crucial. Should have went for samsung. Broke on first use. Now i know why they had me pay the gst.

This usb drive is very well made, solid with a smooth aluminum case.

The proprietary imaging software it comes with is impressive.

I've been wanting to buy an ssd for a long time now, and this little fella caught my eye last week.

My worry is that because it's so small and it's the colour black, one of these days i will drop it, it bounces on the floor, and lose it.

Price

Reasonably priced, good bang for the buck.

Great value for money when it comes on sale.

Was also the cheapest 4tb portable drive at the time i bought it ($220 cdn).

I was planning to buy sanddisk ssd but got this 2tb ssd at $115 on bf sale instead.

Packaging/appearance

Very happy with this purchase - it is a tiny ssd packing a punch with storage space.

It is what we expexted in a smaller package.
