Pros

It's well made, sturdy feeling, and has a metal top with rubberized bottom. Liking it so far.

X2. Allows adding an encryption lock to it. Tb of storage, it should last a long time. Easy to backup and move data form one computer to another. Out of 5 stars by tb.

The read and write speed are super fast. Cyberpunk, need for speed unbound, the witcher 3, and gta 5 all play smooth. Surprised to see no noticeable slowdown compared to unencrypted backups.

Water strive when my macbook pro froze up from overload. It's my main laptop work drive, so i t needs to work with no issues, nada.

When i format this ssd as ntfs all of the video files/sub folder contents become visible. This one is very compact, and instantly mac compatible without the paragon n tfs software required for seagate drives.

Cons

The drives that i received have no hardware encryption. Would lock up while accessing files.

Unfortunately, it's being relegated to paperweight after just 2 months.

Well, maybe not a complete "gem", but compared to sandisk and samsung larger capacity external ssds, this one, so far, has been flawless.

Which is a better deal then the x10 that doesnt offer better performance.
