It is easy to identify with the main character and what she must go through and endure. Love the way anne develops her characters, they have a delicious depth to them. Maccaffrey is a premier story teller.
Cons
It is in fair condition, discolored, and cracked. Would have returned but glued it together and read it anyway. Never buying from this seller again.

I have read this book many, many times and still enjoy it immensely.
Equally a favorite with the dragonriders of pern series.
Even that boy with the white dragon.

Mccaffery is a master story smith and noted for excellent entertainment .

The ship who sang, sassinak, dinosaur planet survivors, and they’ll lead you to more of this authors great stories.
I’ve read almost all of anne’s books, starting with the pern series through the ship who sang.
