The waistband isn’t too tight but i’d say that it’s more of a midrise so don’t go for this if you’re looking for something to suck you in

The shorts stay in place during runs and hiit workouts so i can just focus on what i’m doing while having the peace of mind knowing that i’m not going to flash anyone

My partner remarked that the semicircle seam along the back made them appear a little odd and they wrinkle very easily so they are not the most polished looking athletic short

The back pocket is sized large enough you can squeeze a phone with a slim case on it inside it would not work for a larger phone
