The battery had been failing for a while and i had turned off the hourly signal and automatic update to eak a bit more out of it should have replaced it months ago

I had updated the watch every few days under a bright light which usually worked but is obviously not a long term solution

The anaolgue hands were not the same as the digital and i had to manually adjust but i now have everything working on my watch as if new its not new it getting fairly tatty but that is the poor design of the watch and 24 hours after fitting it has updated overnight and is deadly accurate as it used to be

I would suggest watching a few videos on you tube for casio watches as you need to do a reset by connecting two parts of the watch
