Fill with water to the mark so if you have used one cup of rice fill to the one cup level two cups to the two cup level three cup to the three cup level

This produces perfect rice the heater simply goes off and goes to the warm setting when then rice is cooked

Word of warning it produces a little steam obviously so do not get in the way of this as there is a steam nozzle on the lid
