Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Size is exactly what i needed. It's also helpful to have the strainer holes. Cleaning it isn't hard. Pic is the main reason for wanting to replace.

Cons

They look nice, but won't last long if they're pitting from the start. Very disappointing. No es acero inoxidable.

Pasta cooker is not dishwasher safe. Water leaks out of the seam between the main pot and pasta pot. More hassle than just cooking pasta and in standard pot and pouring it into a colander.

The 3 qt saute pan has small dents in the bottom and scratches inside. I have a emeril stainless steel pot and it's much thicker and the lid doesn't crackle and pop. This pan is also very lightweight.

Quality

Solid construction, purchased specifically for our new glass-top to minimize scratches.

You take care of using a quality pan right and it will serve you well in the the cooking, long run.

And then drain the water out without using and dirtying a colonder.

The split metal handle is uncomfortable to hold, and hurts my hand if there is anything heavy in the pot.

Price

Only gave 4 stars because a week later it dropped $10.

Good product at a very fair price.

I'm going to keep pan as i will not use this pan with a cover and think it is a good deal for the price range

Shipping

Oh well, the skillet is worth 5 stars, and it got here quicker than expected.

Competitiveness

For the price, in comparison to other brands, i was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

I stick with brands that have been around for decades instead and proven themselves.

Ive had the nonstick aluminum version of this very same pan since 2013

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Liked it but decided to move away from coated cookware

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The lid of identical design to the 2013 version is a different matter

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The stainless rim is not as highly polished as was the original and the strainer holes are not well deburred on the inside

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

They have some sharp edges that were not left on the earlier lid

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This lid was almost certainly made in a different factory from the pan and to a lesser standard of quality

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Not compromising to usefulness just a little bit disappointing when compared to the earlier version of the lid and to the fine quality of the pan itself
