Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The pan heats up evenly and cleans up easily. It's super easy to clean. Very nice and very easy cleaning.

Great pan for preparing corn, peas, etc. Narrower but deeper than our old pan 4qt pan. Comes with a glass lid. Professional series stainless steel saucepan. Cooked several different dishes in pot.

Cons

There is no provision for straining and pouring from the lid. The handle is very poorly designed and difficult to hold when maneuvering the pan. Definitely not what i'm used to from cuisinart.

For a 1 qt pan this was overpriced. It's possible that the non-stick coating is also flaking off into my oatmeal, etc.

This line of cookware is not dishwasher safe. Maybe best to stick with stainless steel or ceramic.

Quality

Nice heavy construction, lid seals great, non stick.

So far, they are easy to clean and seem quite durable.

I was worried it would be cheaply made but it is not.

All of my cookware is all-clad stainless plus 1 nonstick frying pan which hasn't held up well.

Price

I jumped on amazon and found this one at a great price.

I know it costs twice as much as some others but i’m glad i purchased it.

The only problem was that we wanted extra saucepans so we found them on amazon for a great price.

Competitiveness

I had bought 4 other non stick pots & pans of the same brand and been very satisfied.

It feels really well-made, and it's great that it's comparable to saucepans which are much more expensive.

This is a design flaw seen in other brands of saucepans as well.

I chose this pan because i needed something small to make sauces in, and i chose cuisinart because i already own a couple of th...  Read More

It feels like and cooks like a much expensive pan

The one place they failed is the handle

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The handle is tapered at the end unlike their stainless steel saucepans

When the pot is full the narrower handle makes tipping it difficult
