Pros & Cons
Pros
Very happy with my purchase. I find myself reaching for it often.
Cuisinart chef's pot can be a soup pot, a braising vessel and even a wok.
The taller sizes are great for holding in the splatter. It is very light and works like a dream. Optimum size for sautéeing for a family of 4. Extra handle sure helps when the arthritis flares up.
The lid fits the skillet of the original set, and the two pans nest perfectly for storage. The transparent lid is nice.
Cons
Glass lid does not sit tight. Handle feels loose at the two mounting rivets when the pot is hot.
Highlights
Quality
High quality construction, nonstick, and very easy to clean.
This is an extremely high quality sauce pan for the money.
Price
I would definitely buy this pot again, and the price is right too.
Competitiveness
I love this pan, you cannot buy 4qt pots in the store unless you are buying a set.
My wife had a few qualifying factors to make a selection acceptable.

The lid does not seal tightly just tight enough to cook rice perfectly and leave no moisture in the pan
