Pros
Easy to clean and durable. Heats up water to boiling quickly, and is easy to clean. Easy cleanup is a breeze too.
This anodized pot is really really good and was a decent buy for the price. Even heat distribution and really good nonstick surface. One of the most valuable pieces of pots and pans in my kitchen in use and convenience.
Cuisinart's 8 qt. This is 10 wide and 6. Inches long. I have a 12qt but sometimes it is to big. It is the right size as i havea 12 quart all chad for larger items.
Cons
The hard anodized coating on aluminum cookware quickly wears off from repeated washing and scrubbing leaving bare aluminum to leach into your foods. The results show it leaches 7. Pounds of aluminum per year.

Price
Good value and great addition to my kitchen collection.
A little more money than i wanted to spend on a pot,but we have had very good experiences with cuisinart products.
So i stuck with a expensive pan i dont want to use any more because it might be putting toxins in myfood.
Heat distribution could have been just a tad better, but it's not a $100+ pot either.

I contacted seller and they immediately sent me a replacement lid at no charge.
Competitiveness
I just replaced another brand 8 qt stockpot in my rv with this one.
Compared to my older model it's the same it's the box that's compact.

I switched to a smaller size since i dont cook vast amounts anymore and its harder to lift a larger one when its full

It did not seem to fit tightly…it was a little loose not enough of a problem to return but that is why the overall rating was not higher

I bought this stockpot because my previous 34stockpot34 is really a steel steaming pot and i grew tired of the bottom of the pot scarring from heat or my foods burning
