Those flimsy folding steamers are small and fall apart.
It was a big mess, didn't fit in many pots, the screw in the middle would come off and steaming was just a clunky process.

Fits 4 qt pan - bit pricey no straight sides as it works for 3 or 4 qt so sides indented to fit the smaller pan
Not as expensive as others out there so i was a little hesitant.

Very nice looking and matches the rest of our set, my wife loves it.

The lid is metal not glass so you do have to lift it to see in or buy an extra glass one from cuisinart

It can tip to the side with its contents arent weightdistributed evenly

This steamer does not come with a glass cover

The steamer fits my cuisinart pot perfectly but the gauge of the steel is a lot thinner than my pot which is probably 20 years old
