Pros & Cons
Pros
Cleaning is a cinch because there's no sticking. It's identical to the hw8622-20 with the exception of the stainless handle. Great & fast heating on my induction hob.
The finish is top quality. Cheap and affordable imo. Very happy with this purchase.
Perfect size for a few eggs or a small omelet. Pan fits two eggs comfortably with a little space between them for flipping.
Cons
Even something as simple as frying an egg (over easy or scrambled) is impossible with this pan. The pan isn't one solid piece. While the stainless steel pan is sturdy, i still think it was irresponsible to ship it inside something so flimsy.
Highlights
Quality
This pan is well-made, and suitable for small skillet meals.
Great little skillet and it can be put in the dishwasher because it is stainless and has no plastic handle
Original review: tiny bits of stainless steel fell off the inside the pan.
Gave the pan its first wash, dried it and put it to work.
Price
I also ordered a 15” splatter screen… about 21 bucks.
Good deal for the price although lid is not included.
It's pricey but the quality is great!
Shipping
Update: cuisinart promptly sent me a new skillet.
Competitiveness
Buy a higher end cuisinart skillet or another brand.
