Pros & Cons

Pros

Great quality cookware, as is all my cuisinart. I expect the shiny sides to dull with use like others, but it doesn't deter from the functionality or how it cleans up. My only wish is that it nestled with the other stock-pots for space saving.

This is the perfect size for cooking stew, soup and chili in a large quantity. She makes homemade fudge,( not the marshmallow *) and it don't burn it or cook to fast.

It distributes heat evenly with the heavy bottom. There's a learning curve to cooking with stainless steel.

Cons

Quart cuisinart pot has thin flimsy metal that bends, flexes and warps. Stainless steel is not supposed to rust.

It is sad to see the downturn in quality of these pots. Massive disappointment.

The one amazon is selling is fake.

This pot is made from cheap 200 series stainless. The rivets that hold the handles in place seem to be aluminum and have pitted after 5 months of use. There are stainless steel pots with aluminum cores that are induction-compatible.
