Pros & Cons
Pros
This keeps it simmering, but because the heat is coming gently and evenly from all sides, it never burns on the bottom. It has a reinforced bottom that conducts heat well on my ceramic cook top. It's decent grade stainless steel and distribute heat we... Read More
The glass lid of this 10-quart pot makes it convenient for checking on contents without lifting the lid.
Cons
The body is lighter, and the lid is much flimsier. The handles now sit at a different angle which makes it impossible to use as a landing for the lid while cooking soup. I have an all-clad set that's been used to pan dry shreaded pork (no oil, pork ma... Read More
The cuisinart pot is a year old and there is rust all around the interior rivets holding the handles. How a manufacturer van make a pot and handles out of stainless steel and use a rivet with a lesser grade of ss is i am sure not a design flaw but a p... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Mine have maintained a nice finish even with constant use and harsh cleaning requirements.
Well made and heat distributes very evenly, no hot spots.
, and cook something in a stock pot for like 3-6 hours, it would burn at the bottom, no matter how low the heat was on the stove.
It's a heavy pot and doesn't have any hot spots on the bottom to burn food.
Price
These cost a little more than i usually spend on pots but totally worth it!
A very good value for someone who just wants a long lasting high quality large boil pot.
Unfortunately found 18qt at target cheaper than this one
For the price, this is a very good stock pot.
Shipping
My 12 qt stockpot just arrived and i’m so happy and satisfied with it.
Packaging/appearance
The only thing i disliked is that it is shown with a glass top and came with a stainless steel top.
Competitiveness
I do believe the heating and browning was better and more even than my much more expensive stainless all-clad pans.
I never guessed you could improve on a stock pot, but here we are -- stockpots are *better*.
