I originally gave this a onestar review i must have gotten a factory reject as the lid handle was off and there was no way to reassemble

So it made me feel sad when the handme down saute pan that ive had from my parents and their years of use had finally starting flaking off its nonstick coating

I also live in an apartment and it wasnt until i got the pan that i found out how much of a hassle it is with improperly sized burners to pan sizes

This pan did the what i once thought impossible wonderful job of cooked rice after just 29 minutes of simmering just shattering any other attempt of this recipe and a true show of how well this pan distributes the heat and cooks evenly even on a improperly sized burner

After washing it thoroughly when it was drying i noticed some bluish and rainbow like discoloration at the bottom of the pan something many reviewers have talked about
