Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy, durable. Well made, easy to use and great for making any kind or sweet or savory pie with tons of filling. Have sliced both pies in the pan without any sign of knife marks in the bottom.
The sides are tall enough that i don't have to worry about it spilling over. It looks like it will hold all the filling for my strawberry sponge pie. Love everything about it.
Only issue with this pie is that it is easily scratched. Bought 2, used them once so far.
Cuisinart pie pan is made from galvanized steel. Good even bake. Browns bottom of pie crusts perfectly. Nice heavyweight pans cook great pies.
Cons
A plastic or silicone slicer is advised.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy easy to clean heavy duty
Sturdy, easy to clean, pie slices come right out.
The first piece of pie was cut with a long paring knife that cut through the coating & exposed shiny metal!
The pan is made of heavy-gauge aluminized steel.
