This last cuisinart machine makes the loaves so dark (even on light crust function) and hard crusted as to be inedible. Could only use the white setting.

I was using an older model for years and i am pleased with the settings and the outcome of the breads so far that i have made.
I love the brand and have never been disappointed.
Price
That i feel, is way too steep a price comparing the cost of the bread machine itself.
However the cost of replacing it is $40.

Determined to make it work i pulled it out again and after making bread for a year now i’ve been using it on a regular basis once or twice a week

I like whole wheat bread and it just doesn’t rise in this machine for whatever reason

After that pull it out and put it into a loaf pan and your bread will be perfect everytime
