Don’t know if the block is solid wood but it does the job

All of the sets of serrated steak knives which sounds good in the beginning but as they age this duration stops one from being able to sharpen them

The set looks beautiful right out the box however having read the onestar reviews on most of these lowtomid quality knives i immediately pulled three example knives from the box

I washed them clean first they were not visibly dirty just to be sure i wasnt feeding their carelessness

Then i placed the three knives in 130 degree water with 34dawn34 dish detergent and left them there submerged for 24 hours
