The light is tall enough to be able to cast light onto the grates. Provides excellent light for grilling when it gets dark. For my *, i place it on the top, extend it over the front so that it shines light in through the window.

For a grill it's good when clipped to the shelf next to the grill. Easily store by magnet on side of refrigerator.

Easy to install. Easily adjustable.

This grill light is a misfire in my opinion. The switch is a significant flaw in the design of the product. It's really a shame as the design is good.

The clip is nice and sturdy, but the light itself is thin, cheap plastic. It kind of defeats the purpose of it being hands free if you have to hold the light up. Overall it's a cheap plastic light that shouldn't be used near heat.

It's not waterproof, so you can't leave it attached to an outdoor grill. Condensation gets into the battery compartment and corrodes the batteries. It is not water resistant or proof.
