Pros

The side-by-side coffee and hot water is perfect for hot chocolate or tea and saves space and time. The separate hot water dispenser is fantastic for making hot tea, cocoa, oatmeal, or just preheating a cup.

It is well built and brews very fast. This is my 2nd coffee maker after years of great service the old faithful finally died.

It's amazing to not have to do so many extra steps to boil tea, soil a pot. Taste of the coffee beans is not compromised. Perfect system for serious coffee lovers and occasional tea drinkers.

After running through hoops trying to discern the issue with the tech, i was sent to a cuisinart representative. There wasn't much response. Because the first time you miss not getting it all correct there is no leeway.

We added a frother at xmas, and there is renewed interest at the coffee station, with happy campers, all around the pot!

After looking at all the different brands i went back to this one for quality and value.

Turns out my mother-in-law likes her pour-over coffee!
