Pros

The buildup after a few uses is remarkable and its loud. Thank goodness amazon prime got this peacemaker to us overnight. The cuisinart coffee grinder is by far the best coffee grinder i have ever owned.

The machine feels sturdy and well-made, promising durability and longevity.

Cleaning is a breeze as well—the detachable parts are easy to remove and wash. Design prevents any mess from spilling over. It cleans up pretty easily.

Cons

If you are regularly brewing 10+ cups of drip coffee, this unit would work for you. The lid is difficult to remove and when you do coffee grounds fly everywhere.

Do yourself a favor, spend the extra 50 bucks and get the upgrade. It's too expensive for too marginal effect. No uniformity at all. Not a great product.

I love the ease and quality of this grinder!

The static electricity makes it cling, clump, and the pounding to get the ground coffee out makes a mess.

The inner collar broke and i'd have to take it apart to do an internal cleaning every few years.

Price

It does a great job and the price was very resonable.

I suggest waiting for a refurbished unit as you can get them for half price and they rarely are used or even opened for that matter.

Half the price of our first burr grinder, but not even close in usability.

All in all - i say i'm happy with the purchase - it's a good value for my money and i expect it to last us for some time.

I've only ever owned this coffee grinder so i cant compare.

A little pricier than other grinders but it is less than other burr grinders.

This is no starbucks $2000 grinder, but it sure thinks it is and you can't tell me different.
