Pros

The water heats up instantly so you can start brewing right away. It heats as it brews and is 1/2 the brew time of my older model.

Cons

Months later, it's barely luke warm. That thing is completely worthless. There was a pop and a flash and smoke coming out of the unit - luckily no flames though.

It has a odd clunky, badly made plastic feel to the whole movement to open and shut it. The real downside on this thing is the strength of the brew.
