There is a screen that is supposed to do some type of filtering it seems so poorly engineered that when the water level gets low the water starts going into multiple streams when pouring

The only criticism and i mean the only one is the markings on the keys are slowly disappearing from wear

Today it did not boil to the correct temperature boiled even though set on a lower temp and never shut itself off

This allows me to remove the unit from its base pour water into the pot to heat up the pot rest the kettle on the counter pour out the hot water then put the tea in pour the water into pot then return the kettle to its base

It seems that others have not been so lucky in the lifespan of the product and their description of the warranty process are not encouraging

This is a great kettle but unfortunately the plastic viewfinder sprung a leak and water will not stop leaking out of the handle
