Pros

This is a basic toaster, but it does do bagels and has a defrost button. It has a reheat button that seemed to work well if the toast setting chosen is a little lower than you wanted. It toasts right every time.

Cons

This is the last cuisinart appliance i will buy. It toasts uneven, and inconsistently - one side is toasted differently. Other reviews indicate i didn't get the only lemon around. This toaster is absolute junk.

The manual says you have to plug it it before use, then unplug it after. This plug/unplug feature is not noted in description of item. The electromagnet is a custom part, so i can't fix it. The light for the numbered setting indicator flickers.
