The top part of the bread comes out burnt/over toasted. The issue is that it toasts unevenly.
Regrettably, those standards have not been met. Will be seeking a refund this time instead of a replacement. Wanted a more reputable brand for the replacement.
The knobs on the front rattle around and don't even stay in place when bumper. Knob to adjust toaster is like dollar store quality. The timer, in general, is unpredictable and irregular.
This toaster is just junk at a premium price imnsho. Toaster for the price is a hunk of junk. Curse you, ex fiancé, for taking my perfectly good toaster and leaving me this pos.
Cleaning this thing is a pita. Better used as an anchor. A disappointing successor to an otherwise historically successful product line.

My family does eat a lot of bread and with a full house a 2 slice toaster at some point no longer works

Toast settings depend on the amount of sugars in what youre toasting middle setting for regular bread slices less for bagels a bit more for english muffins etc
