Cons

I have other cuisinart products that i love how they cook but not this one. It toasts bagels very poorly. I have to put them back in and rotated so that the untoasted part is down hill to get a fully toasted muffin.

After less than a year, the metal body detached from the plastic base with no way to fix it!

Love this toaster the expensive was worth it!

I would bet, anyone who ordered the "newer version "c" model", just received the regular old cpt-435 at an inflated price.

The higher pricing of the "c" model is free profit for the seller.

On a higher end model like this, they should electronically raise and lower the carriages like some of the other competitor's models.

Checked other reviews on this cuisinart since it is a bit more costly than the more common brands.
