Pros

It is very sturdy, very easy to clean and is amazingly fast at pureeing anything we've tried so far. This is very durable as well. Fast and easy.

This thing has been used regularly, though not heavily for the past 9+ years. I have very little wear on the shaft connector. Well worth the money and have had zero problems with it.

Cons

The warranty is not a warranty. When the shaft fails (and it will in ~2 years) it is cheaper to just buy a new one. They tell me i have to pay shipping & handling for a replacement unit, which for this item is $10, and then i must also pay to ship... Read More

With a big batch of hot soup or stewed tomatoes, this is not fun. Barely used this blender (like less than 20 times) with having a bullet. Better spend more on a soild blender.

Review is to raise awareness on how unsafe this is. The mixer part now fails to engage with the motor section. The third time, the motor runs but not the blade.

Like black & decker, this is a skunked once praiseworthy, they're to be avoided.

The weak plastic connection to the drive shaft is a notable shortcoming. The high torque eventually strips this cheap, plastic gear and the entire tool and the pile of wonderful accessories, become totally useless! Then it turns into a piece of junk.

I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth with this blender.

Just got on to see about ordering a new cup for this thing and realized i bought this blender in nov of 2012 (for $26.

I bought it in 2011 for under $25.
