Pros

The coating is slightly browner where the element is, but food doesn't stick and it cleans easily. It goes in and out of the dishwasher without a problem. Large cooking area and even heat. This one however heats fast and cooks the food perfectly.

Cons

This handsome,roomy and seemingly well designed skillet never was hot enough to properly cook the latkes. After second use it will hardly heat so must resort to stove top for partially cooked food.

Does not achieve perceived cuisinart quality. This is a very nice looking appliance, but i'm not happy with the product. I have to revert back to my stainless steel one that is 50 years old.

I understand paying the shipping on the first defective unit, but the second one seems like it should be on them. Clearly the new controller has some kind of problem.

Cuisinart says they do not issue refunds but their replacements are the same as the defective product. I place another order for the cord and received another email saying the cord was not available and that my order was cancelled. This one is already... Read More

Nothing is bubbling. In addition, it buzzes growing louder and louder as it gets hotter. It makes an annoying humming sound.

Pan is well made and heat adjustment is precise.

This skillet cooks evenly, is super easy to clean, and has the capacity to do in 1-2 batches what used to take me 3-4.

I discovered the temperature probe which regulates the heat had slipped out of the holder just enough to not hold the heat.

The last one went out in a huge flash with smoke.

Price

Expensive product for 10 month’s of use.

If there is a sale then its definitely a great buy.
