Long and short this is an excellent product for boiling water.

After 30+ years of daily use, my revere ware paul revere tea kettle copper bottom broke and they are out of business.

3/29/20 the bottom of the 2 roll pins popped out and after reinserting the pin the slide action was disfunctional.
