The numbers on the water reservoir disappear slowly after two months. The design makes it difficult to fill the reservoir.

We replaced almost the same one we had for over 5 years, and it’s the same great quality.
No drip spout works great and also like the fact you don’t have to loosen lid to pour the coffee.
This warning is made in the description so be warned if you are setting it to come on automatically in the morning.
The unit does have a warming plate, but it is only on during the brew cycle (to heat up the carafe) and shuts off after coffee has brewed.
Competitiveness
Compared to my previous krups coffee maker with carafe, this one keeps coffee hotter for longer.

Reading some of the reviews about coffee not being hot enough after brewing or lack of retaining heat in the thermos i was a little leery about purchasing this item

If there is a flaw in this it’s that the clock is not backlit
