Pros
Easy to clean; damp microfibre cloth cleans up drips and spills. Takes #2 cone filters, and with some clever origami, it can take paper basket filters too. Thank you amazon team and seller for shipping it out.
It brews our starbucks or other ground coffees to perfection, and quickly with little fuss. The flavour is great.
Full capacity @ 4 cups is 24 oz, perfect for my oversized travel mug. My hubby gets up earlier and makes his two mugs and has it all nice and ready for my later morning brew. If you use a big cappuccino mug, it fills to its rim.
Stainless steel carafe is dishwasher safe.
The absence of electronic bells and whistles is fine. I wish the 30 minute warming time was longer perhaps 45-60 minutes. The timer to turn it off is great.
Cons
The coffee pot itself leaks. No matter how high or how slowly you pour your brew, it spills out all over the place. It is not as easy to clean as a normal glass carafe.

Automatic shutoff in half an hour makes the operation virtually foolproof and any coffee left by midmorning probably tastes better reheated in the microwave than kept hot on a burner

The larger one a wolf gourmet coffee system is stellar in most regards but it cant make small quantities we bought this unit solely for the purpose of making coffee for a single person

We wanted a drip unit that used 2 cone filters no keurig no proprietary basket and no fixed cone filter instead of paper and could produce quantities from 10 20 ounces

Accordingly it does not fit under our kitchen cabinets interferes with under cabinet lighting when the lid is open
