Pros & Cons
Pros
The controls are simple and streamlined. It is pricey but gets the job done without a hitch. Pricy but, worth ever penny.
The chopping blade seems to work well, albeit that machine seems to get hotter during operation than previous ones. Chopping is a breeze with this product. It completes tasks in seconds that i need 30+ minutes to complete with a knife. I make my fur b... Read More
Great for making pate, soup, purred vegetables, chopping veggies. The flatter style bowl is much better than the others and evenly chops and purees.
Cons
Unlike my old cuisinart food processor, this one is lightweight which explains itβs poor performance. There is no reset ability for the consumer.
The extender has a bend in it and a weirdly off-center and complicated lock mechanism. The large pusher also has openings at its bottom.
Food particles can hang out and ferment between uses. Cleaning the narrow * is also difficult. Acrylic is a garbage material that gets cloudy overtime and easily gets scratched.
Food processor has built-in 'protections' that complicate what should be a simple machine. Overly complicated safety features are cheap, cumbersome and brittle.
Highlights
Quality
I'm very pleased with the quality of the new food processor.
Extremely impressed with quality of the product.
To replace it, i tried to go with the highest rated, non cuisinart cheap brand.
So, i replaced it with the latest model and its even better than the first, they are heavy, well built and really do the job!
Price
Got this as my other food processor bowl was cracked and a replacement bowl cost was a good step to a new one and i'd wanted a ... Read More
Packaging/appearance
Order was delivered in its original packaging box from cuisinart instead of amazon π & this model does not come with the dough blade.
Competitiveness
I also grate parmesan, which is super easy and more flavorful β i will never buy store-bought grated parmesan again.
Very happy though it was one of the more expensive models.
It is still working today, but i gave it to my daughter because i wanted to try a different processer with different features.
