Pros
Makes quick work of grating hard cheeses, romano, parmesan, etc. Works great if you want powdered parmesan cheese. Works for finely grated carrots.
Cons
Take heed cuisinart. The cutting blade is much to fine. Anything passed through the shoot comes out mushy. Returned for a refund, not a replacement.
Cuisinart elite collection grater can't be used with chocolate. Chunks of grated ginger ruin any dish that calls for grating ginger.

If you are buying this for your 14cup cuisinart food processor be warned that it doesnt go with every model and the model search box on this page isnt very useful

If you want to be sure that this disc fits your model dont rely on the amazon search box go to cuisinarts site and plug in the model of your food processor

If you dont see it in that list it isnt compatible and you can save yourself the trouble of ordering it and having to return it as i wish i had known to do
