Disc fits perfectly my 7 cup cuisinart. Fit my very old cuisinart (over 30). It isn't flimsy,and is compatible with my 7 quart.

Cons

Some of the seven and eight stuff is interchangeable but this isn't and it doesn't fit. It was listed as specifically fitting a dc seven food processor.

I love it for shredding potatoes when i want that superfine hair like shredding that cooks quickly and easily.

Very sharp and works as well as all their other blades!

The medium shredding disc that came with my 11-cup processor is too coarse for carrot salad, hash browns or cheese.

I had used the larger one for years and was never really satisfied, but couldn't justify the price of this disc to myself.
